BPMN stands for Business Process Modeling Notation. The Business Process Modeling Notation is the standard to model business process flows and Web services. Created by the Business Process Management Initiative (BPMI), the first goal of BPMN is to provide a notation that is readily understandable by all business users. BPMN works as a core enabler of Business Process Management (BPM), which is concerned with managing changes to improve business processes.

BPMN helps in designing diagram – called the Business Process Diagram (BPD), which provides the ability to model complex business processes. The customer-centered Newgen OmniFlow team has recognized this and made it BPMN Compliant. The business user can view his/her designed processes in BPMN mode or even design his/her process in BPMN mode in the Process Modeler itself.
