An international healthcare products & pharmaceuticals company adopts Newgen Solution for managing SSC Operations

The client, a leading healthcare & pharmaceutical product organization, has 250 operating companies in 57 countries employing approximately 117,000 people. Their products include diagnostics, medical devices, prescription medicines and global consumer products.

One of the major challenges faced by the organization was to centralize the payables activity by setting up a Shared Service Center (SSC). The organization decided to deploy the Newgen’s solution for managing the SSC operations.

The SSC implementation is successfully completed at China. Apart from China, the implementation serves other countries like Taiwan, Hong Kong and Japan. All these countries are benefiting from the SSC services. The plans are also to setup more SSCs in the other countries.
