	Newgen Makes a Foray in e-Governance In fulfilling the Vision of the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG), Newgen as a lead partner has successfully implemented “eDisha” an Enterprise Solution for Less Paper Office. eDisha was the name given to the project which was carried out by the set of partners, each brings to the Product based on their core competency, be it Development Methodology (IBM-Rationale), Front-end interfaces (Adobe® - Acrobat®), Integration methodology (DSR) or Citizen Delivery Capability & Back end (Newgen Software Technologies). eDisha helps government by improving turnaround time and meet citizen charters, effective management of resources, improved efficiencies and effectiveness, consistent government responses and quality of Administration, and reduction in delays and lead-time. The initial pilot is being rolled out at DARPG, New Delhi and based on this success a replication contract of 160 Lacs has been awarded for implementation at 3 more sites. Top

	Newgen's Cheque Truncation System reached International Market In a series of Road shows, which Newgen has organized in the last few months, another road show was organized on Cheque Truncation System in collaboration with HP in Bangalore on 12th May 2005. The theme was 'Electronic Processing of Cheques’. Followed by this, Newgen, in collaboration with Siemens LLC, UAE recently organized a road show on Cheque Truncation System (CTS) at “Al Bustan Rotana Hotel” in the heart of Dubai on dated 23rd May 2005. This show was for 3 days with a theme of “Technology as a Strategic Pathway to Growth” attracting over 25 senior professionals from banking/financial sector. Mr. Jasbir Singh, Senior Consultant–Banking & Insurance, Seimens, Middle East, addressed the show along with Newgen official, on Business Process Management Solution. Newgen showcased their “Business Process Management” and “Cheque Truncation System” solution in Banking domain. Senior officials and heads of Central and Commercial Banks from different countries like Oman, Qatar, Jordan and UAE took part in the show.
