GTL, a leading Network Services company, placed an order for Global Pro Server Ltd., part of the GTL group, to bring a revolutionary change to the way they manage documents. The company manages switch and base stations for various telecom operators. This requires handling a large number of documents (legal, technology, engineering, etc.), which need quick access and regular archival. Also, these documents are to be shared to the telecom operators and their internal departments. The company wanted a robust and a reliable document management system, which could smoothly integrate with their existing Primavera, MS office and e-mail systems.
Newgen solution offering includes OmniDocsTM, OmniScanTM, LDAP, and integration services (in second phase), with 50 concurrent users of OmniDocs. The solution will be implemented at a central location in Mumbai. The company expects to better manage all their core-business-related documents and make them available online to the their partner telecom operators as per access rights.
