The project would be implemented over the current financial year, and involves digitizing all the policy documents, centrally managing digitized documents using OmniDocs^TM, and integrating the solution with various other components of the insurance system. The company also plans to implement workflow for processing of documents. The enterprise-grade solution would be able to process nearly twenty million policies issued every year by the company.

Newgen would provide OmniScan^TM, the bulk scanning solution; OmniDocs^TM, the Enterprise Document Management System; RMS and Whitehall. After the initial pilot implementation, the solution would cover all the offices of the company across India.
