Image Enablement for i-flex’s Banking Solution in Taiwan

i-flex solutions chose to integrate Newgen OmniDocs^TM, our enterprise Document Management System, with i-flex’s banking solution being implemented at a leading bank in Taiwan.

By integrating Newgen system with its banking solution, i-flex expects to cut down the operating cost per transaction, reduce paper-based processing, and improve the process turn around time for the bank’s operations.

Newgen solution consists of OmniDocs^TM, OmniCapture^TM, Application Connector and custom utilities.

Newgen OmniDocs^TM and OmniCapture^TM would form an important part of the i-flex solution, and would be used to image-enable various business processes, such as loans and trade process of the bank. This involves integrating Newgen OmniDocs^TM with the i-flex solution, which will be used by the central operation division of the bank for loans and trade pre-processing. All the documents used for pre-approvals would be scanned, indexed and archived into OmniDocs^TM. Documents are scanned at the point of receipt and stored by associating a 2D barcod and a unique id with it.

This is the first time that Newgen Software and i–flex have teamed up together to offer a bundled solution to a customer.
