Newgen solution enabled a leading bank in Saudi Arabia to effectively deal with the deluge of customer statements. The bank used to spend huge amount of manual effort and time in printing and enveloping the statements. To tackle this challenge, the bank had deployed an automatic enveloping machine. However, the task still remained manual. Newgen OmniReportsTM with Bulk Printing Server was implemented as the printing solution for the bank statements. This was integrated with the enveloping machine. OmniReportsTM prints statements with barcode containing information such as number of statements in the batch, number of pages in the batch, etc. The enveloping machine reads this barcode, categorises the statement (using an add-on utility provided with the solution), and automatically envelops it.
The solution has seen the bank slashing its earlier time to print and envelop statements from one week to a mere four hours. The client also obtained other benefits such as dual language printing and retrieval of documents within seconds for quick customer service. The solution integrates with multiple core banking systems such as Globus, Equation, and MFM that were deployed by the bank for different processes. Another remarkable feat of the solution was the lightening speed at which it was implemented – just one month and to the full satisfaction of client. However, for Newgen Software, it was business as usual.
Newgen Software has emerged as a strong player in Banking in the Middle East, what with many reputed Banks opting for its Business Process Management (BPM), Enterprise Content Management (ECM), and Check Truncations solutions. Newgen Software is going places. Determined to create an indelible footprint around the world with its cutting-edge solutions, Newgen Software entered a new territory, Ukraine, in style by winning an order from one of the market leaders in Core Banking in Ukraine.
The bank wants to automate the Loan Origination System (LOS) process across its branches. The process serves both corporate and retail clients. The bank is also rolling out a new system where there will be greater concentration of work at Head Office, which is currently being done at the province level. Newgen Solution would help the bank do it effectively. As of now, clients are served essentially at their own outlets. With the solution, the bank would be able to process client requests seamlessly across outlets. Newgen solution incorporates OmniFlowTM, the BPM system and OmniDocsTM, the enterprise document management system. The solution will be tightly integrated with the core banking system, Finacle. Newgen solution will also be used for streamlined processing of internal bills and contracts.

Keeping up its winning streak in the Middle East, Newgen again came out triumphs by bagging an order from a Top-10 bank in the region amidst rival bids from large global vendors.

| Thai Steel Cable Goes for Newgen Document Management Solution
Newgen registered another win in the APAC region. Thai Steel Cable, the leading Automotive Control Cable Manufacturer in Thailand, chose Newgen Document Management Solution for automating and managing its Production Parts Approval Process (PPAP). The documents, historical as well as new, generated during PPAP would be scanned using production-scanning solution, OmniScanTM. The scanned documents would be indexed and then exported to be stored in OmniDocsTM DMS, from where they could be quickly and easily retrieved.
The solution would result in easy and efficient management of PPAP for operational and audit purposes.
Thai Steel Cable Public Company Limited was established in 1978. The company is engaged in the production and distribution of automobile control cables, motorcycle control cables and window regulators.
