Newgen Software Launches OmniExtract ^TM 6.1.4

Newgen Software, a leader in the field of BPM and ECM today announced the launch of the latest version of NEWGEN^® OmniExtract^TM, an easy-to-configure forms processing solution, for automated data extraction from both structured and unstructured form images.

The new version, OmniExtract^TM 6.1.4, comes with greater flexibility and enhanced features enabling customers to adapt to changing business conditions and capitalize on market opportunities. OmniExtract^TM 6.1.4 enables users to easily integrate customized external applications for image pre-processing. It gives users greater flexibility in form design and printing. OmniExtract^TM 6.1.4 has the capability to successfully process complex structured forms (HIPPA, UB92, Mortgage 1003 forms, etc.) without having to redesign the forms.

OmniExtract^TM 6.1.4 enables better form definition by automatic identification and creation of data zones. The data zones can now also be associated with multiple legends for better success rate. Features such as auto-zone identification, auto-table extraction, auto-form definition, static-text removal, dual engine voting, and form-level data filters greatly improve the data accuracy of OmniExtract^TM.

For better recognition accuracy, OmniExtract^TM is now equipped with advanced zone properties. With this feature, image clean-up activities like removal of line/noise can now be defined at both page and zone level.
