Newgen participates in e-Document Japan - 2007 exhibition
Newgen Software Technologies, India recently participated in e-Document Japan 2007 exhibition that was held from 24th October to 26th October in Tokyo. This exhibition proved to be a successful platform for showcasing the implications of Business Process Management (BPM) and Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions across different industry verticals especially Banking, Insurance and financial companies. The financial sector is highly process and document driven and demands improved process efficiency, better cost management and better customer service. Many companies including big system integrators visited our stall to learn about the solutions and their application. The exhibition proved to be a strong medium to reach and explore business opportunities lying in the Japanese market.
Gulf Information Technology Exhibition (GITEX)
Newgen Software launched the latest version of its BPM solution, OmniFlowTM 7.0 in Arabic at the prestigious Gulf Information Technology Exchange (GITEX) Technology Week. GITEX Technology Week offers a rich insight in the Middle East’s ICT landscape by presenting a power-packed week of dedicated trade events.It focuses on the region’s fastest growing sectors – IT business solutions, telecommunications and consumer electronics – to present focused forums for key buyers and decision-makers from across the region. This year’s event attracted over 3000 companies from 79 countries and over 133,000 visitors from 119 countries.

CTS Seminar in Malaysia
Newgen Software organized a seminar on CTS in Kuala Lumpur. The event was attended by a large number of top executives and decision makers from the banking industry and government. The seminar featured decision makers and executives who have experience in implementing CTS solutions. Newgen also demonstrated its CTS solution at the seminar.

Newgen Participates at NIC Summit on e-Forms
As a part of the e-Governance Standards initiatives, National Informatics Centre (NIC) conducted a National Summit on ‘e-Forms for e-Governance’.
The summit emphasized the need to develop applications and solutions, based on e-Forms, to capture structured data for workflow processes. The summit provided presentations/discussions on topics such as e-Forms accessibility, localization issues, integration with legacy data, organizational structures for implementation of e-Forms, etc.

The IBM Software Partners Summit brought together partners from across the geographies providing a platform to network with various other IBM partners and senior IBM executives.

Microsoft Executive Summit (MES), one of the main events of Microsoft, in India, was organized in Mumbai. The summit witnessed distinguished speakers from around the world in various domains such as Financial Services, Manufacturing, Government, Telecom, IT services and Education. For this year’s summit, the theme was “People Ready Business”, which emphasized on empowering people with the appropriate tools to deliver better output.

NEWGEN Participates at the HP Partners Connect Meet
NEWGEN emerged as one of the key HP partners to participate at the HP Partners Connect recognition program organized in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
The meet was a unique business opportunity for the HP partners, both channel partners and Independent Software Vendors (ISV) partners to interact with top executives and decision-makers, to collaborate for exploiting future opportunities. It was a platform for ISV partners who were keen to triangulate with HP Value Partners, across multiple countries in APJ, to extend their reach through the HP Ecosystem. NEWGEN took a further step in its
initiative on e-governance by co-sponsoring the 9th National
eGovernance Conference, held at Kochi, Kerala.
The conference provided a unique opportunity to experts from the government departments and technology solution providers to discuss various challenges faced in the implementation of eGovernance projects.

NEWGEN makes a mark at Banknet Exhibition and Seminar
NEWGEN participated in a significant event, Exhibition and Seminar on Payment Systems, hosted by Banknet India. This was the largest-ever event on Payment Systems, with representation from more than 100 banks and 50 IT companies.
The event featured different modes of Payment Systems. The Banknet event held great significance in wake of RBI’s emphasis on strengthening the computerized Cheque Clearing and Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). The event generated a great deal of business interest among representatives of Indian banks, RBI and IT vendors.

Newgen creates waves at Gitex 2005
As part of its plan to establish itself as a leading IT solution and services provider in the EMEA region, Newgen successfully participated and showcased its prowess in the BPM, Workflow, Document Management and Imaging domains at the 25th Gitex Exhibition held in Dubai.
Newgen stall was hub of activity with a large number of business visitors making it a point to visit the stall. There were a number of meaningful business enquiries, which are expected to culminate in orders.
Gitex is among the top three IT exhibitions in the world. The exhibition attracted more than 1,163 exhibitors from over 2724 companies spread across the globe. Gitex has gained great importance due to burgeoning spread of IT in the Middle East and Africa.
