To ensure that employees have a pleasant and relaxed working environment, with ample scope of fun at work, Newgen Employee Welfare Society was started. Participative Management and teamwork amongst Newgenites is evident in the initiative called NEWS.

NEWS is responsible for arranging activities and functions at organizational level – NEWS week celebrations, Annual Day celebration, Sports Tournaments, New Year/Festival parties, etc.

During September each year, NEWS conducts a week-long celebration consisting of various events and competitions, culminating in a grand party. This is an initiative to welcome new joinees from Campus and make them feel at home in the company.

New initiatives are launched regularly, such as the SADBHAVNA program – a welfare program to benefit Newgen's class IV employees.

An innovative and employee-friendly initiative from NEWS has been the creation of the Helpdesk, which caters to the personal work of employees, be it bills' payment, bank-related work, petty purchases, or any other such mundane task.

Apart from this Group trips/picnics/birthday celebrations/team exercises and other project-completion celebrations are a part of the happy moments that we celebrate together.

Connexions is a newsletter started... by the Newgenites... for the Newgenites featuring group happenings, techno-bytes, thoughts etc. among other informative and interesting articles. It is an earnest attempt to keep Newgenites of various locations together – collecting their thoughts and putting it in one place for great minds to meet!
