OmniScan is a production-scanning engine for document image capture. It enables scanning of different type of documents in different properties without human intervention using powerful scripts.

The inbuilt export and integration feature allows using it as a scanning workstation with any Document Management and Workflow system. It facilitates filing and indexing of the documents in the document management system and initiates work items in the workflow system without getting affected by the complexity of that system.

Distributed Scanning

Newgen offers a comprehensive Distributed Capture Solution for large, multi-location organizations.

The Newgen solution is scalable to handle millions of pages and hundreds of branches which can operate out of a simple browser interface, an MFP device or production grade scanning through OmniScan.

The High Volume Branches can be equipped with the Newgen Production Scanning tool, OmniScan. OmniScan further connects to the Central Server for transfer of the scanned documents.

The low volume Branches can be equipped with a browser based interface for scanning documents via low end scanners or multi-function peripherals.
