Vietnamese Bank Selects Newgen's BPM and ECM Solutions

Newgen OmniDocs and OmniScan will automate TienPhong Bank's branches and provide better customer service.

Wednesday, July 30, 2008:  Newgen Software, a business process management (BPM) and enterprise content management (ECM) company, has secured a deal with TienPhong Bank in Vietnam. This order also marks Newgen's entry into Vietnam. The bank chose Newgen solution, OmniDocs and OmniScan, to automate its branches and provide better customer service.

Newgen solutions will help the bank to align all bank records across various LoBs of the bank in a digital archive. TienPhong Bank is one of the new banks to start operations in Vietnam. The bank has recently received its establishment and operation permit from the State Bank of Vietnam.
