OmniReports is an Enterprise Report Management (ERM) platform that captures report output of business applications like ERP systems, Billing Applications, Banking Systems, etc. from source and converts into compressed digital files that can be archived, indexed, copied, searched and accessed electronically.
OmniReports helps maintain years of data online and eliminates the cumbersome process involved in data retrieval from storage media. It relieves the core applications from resource hungry activities of Reports Management, allowing focus on core functions and responding to requests.
OmniReports supports multiple methods of report distribution via web, through a CD with a viewer to offline branches, by printing searched reports and through fax/ mail.
Report Acquisition, Archival & Access:
OmniReports integrates with various back-end systems such as billing applications, ERP, CRM, etc. and captures the report output into a single Enterprise Report Warehouse. During this process, it allows report indexing and compression up to one tenth of the size, to enable search/access to millions of online reports. OmniReports implementation has enabled organizations to phase out legacy systems that were maintained only for accessing reports on historical transactions and streamlining reports distribution across the enterprise.
Electronic Bill Presentment:
OmniReports empowers billing systems to publish all historical and current statements onto the Internet. Customers can access these statements through the website using their login ID and can search the bills using defined parameters. OmniReports integrates with IVRS systems to enable bill presentation, automatic faxing, and auto generation of personalized statements.
This allows printing to be done at regional locations, at lower costs, through standard Laser printers, thus eliminates the need for expensive central printers and special stationary. This feature of OmniReports supports sampling of reports based on the different parameters and allows Report audit for physical authentication before the final print, which helps in quality validation of reports.
Duplicate Bill Printing:
OmniReports enables counter delivery of duplicate bills that are dated beyond 1-2 years to customers. These bills can also be self-accessed. Customers can place requests over the Internet or IVRS. It helps in timely delivery of duplicate bills, which shortens the accounts receivables period, and improves the cash flow.
Application Extension at Low Investment:
Makes the system-generated reports available through its own interface. OmniReports extends the usage of the core application to the supervisory users and cuts down on the requirement of core application licenses for such users. This lowers the total cost of ownership of the application without compromising on the usage.
Report Visualization & Workflow:
Visualization capabilities of OmniReports allows managers to interpret reported data using graphical tools. Workflow feature of OmniReports enables collaborative working on reports by allowing users to electronically annotate/refer reports to the other users for comments and feedback.
