Office Note Approval Process
Newgen's E-Gov Suite offers Office Note Approval module for automation of this process. E-Gov Office has an inbuilt web based editor to create Office Notes and send in a workflow for approval. All Noting / Commenting / Decisions are captured in the Note itself and are available in non-editable form for the purpose of Audit.

Request to Information (RTI)
Citizens today submit RTO applications through Web site or manually. These RTI applications are processed manually, leading to time delays as well as losing the purpose at times. Newgen provides a platform for automation of the RTI handling process. This results in better compliance, process transparency, better response times and citizen satisfaction.
Most of government departments today have front end portals on which citizens can submit applications for availing services such as ration card, electricity, telephones, etc. However the back end processes for the same are manual that result in delayed service to citizens. Newgen provides its BPM and ECM platform to automate processing of such service requests to various government departments and archiving citizen related documents.
Public grievances relate to issues that the public faces with respect to non availability of the services/wrong services, delayed services, etc. from the Government for which they are entitled. Handling of such grievances is decentralized and manual today in Government departments. Newgen provides its BPM and ECM platform to automate processing of such grievances.
All employee records, whether for current or past employees are in paper format. Processing the pensions of employees become a problem especially in cases where employees have retired long back and pay commission recommendations result in change in their pensions. In such cases, identifying such old records and process them to distribute the right pensions to these old people is a challenge for the Government departments. Moreover, timelines have to be adhered to by these departments. Newgen provides its BPM and ECM framework for image based processing of pensions.
