Newgen has built the entire stack of components needed for high volume imaging which is at the core of the portfolio. ECM suite uses Newgen’s Imaging libraries for storage, compression, enhancements, Image Server for storage & retrieval of Images, wherein only the index information is kept in database and Images are organized into a stack of documents called Volumes and Volume-Blocks, that correspond to physical files. It offers a Document View Applet, which supports bandwidth-friendly page-by page display as well as strip-wise display of images.
The ECM platform supports both centralized and distributed scanning. It provides a comprehensive system for high-speed scanning, document separation & indexing and supports separation based on barcode, forms and blank-page. It supports Policy-based upload to effectively utilize bandwidth in multi-location deployments. It also supports web-based scanning for capture from low-volume locations. It offers Records Management for retention, archival, physical document tracking.
Newgen’s ECM solution is highly secured and it can be integrated with LDAP servers. Being Standards-based and Platform-agnostic, Newgen’s ECM platform has Strong Integration Capabilities and it supports deployment on most App Servers, Databases & operating systems.
