Newgen’s Distributed Capture Solution is capable of handling millions of pages and hundreds of branches using a simple browser interface, an MFP device or production grade scanning enabled by Newgen’s powerful OmniScan Engine.
In a typical Distributed Capture process, the high volume branches are equipped with the Newgen’s Production Scanning tool, OmniScan which further connects to the Central Server for transfer of the scanned documents. The low volume Branches are equipped with a browser-based interface for scanning documents via low-end scanners or multi-function peripherals.
